Liverpool fans are in awe of Adrian's save in training

Adrian has produced a superb save in training, as Liverpool prepare to host Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds know that victory would be another huge step towards Premier League glory and they will be strong favourites to beat their bitter rivals.

Although Adrian won’t start at Anfield, he hasn’t been doing his chances any harm in training, making one outstanding one-handed stop, which he shared on Twitter:

Read Liverpool Verdict

In my opinion, Adrian is the best backup goalkeeper in the league.

He was excellent during Alisson’s injury absence earlier in the season, starring in the UEFA Super Cup win over Chelsea, and I think Liverpool would have dropped points with Simon Mignolet in goal instead.

Adrian looks more suited to Liverpool’s style, particularly in terms of his use of the ball, and I also think he cuts a more confident figure.

There have been links suggesting the Reds could sign Trabzonspor ‘keeper Ugurcan Cakir, but I believe Liverpool have a more than able second choice in their ranks already.
