Some Liverpool fans have been left in hysterics after reading James Milner’s latest brilliant social media update.
The 34-year-old has been a fantastic signing by the Reds – arguably the best free transfer in the club’s history. Milner has brought with him a wealth of experience, not to mention underrated quality on the ball.
His mental strength has stood out so often, too, with endless nerveless penalties scored along the way.
For years, Milner was viewed as a rather boring individual, summed up by a parody Twitter account, @BoringMilner, being created in his honour.
It turns out that the midfielder is some sort of comedy genius, however, with a constant stream of self-deprecating, tongue-in-cheek posts keeping Liverpool supporters entertained.
Milner’s most recent update saw him rationing teabags, as players continue to self-isolate amidst the current outbreak of illness in the UK:
Hey @Alex_OxChambo Barrels of laughs here in the Milner household as well – rationing the tea bags for the week👍👍#crazydays#somuchtogetonwith#notgotthemovestocompete pic.twitter.com/WLDAJjyHOc
