Jurgen Klopp is idolised at Liverpool, earning endless praise after celebrating his four-year anniversary at Anfield on Tuesday.
The 52-year-old has transformed the entire club, winning the Champions League last season and threatening to clinch Premier League glory this time around.
Klopp was similarly adored at Borussia Dortmund, where he enjoyed seven memorable years between 2008 and 2015.
The club’s CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, has revealed in a new book how the German’s exit affected him, in quotes provided by Sport Witness:
I knew that we would never get back such a coach. When I said goodbye, real tears came.
Such a relationship, as I had with Jurgen over seven years at BVB, that did not exist before. And such a relationship will probably never happen again.
This is a bit like when the children move out. You also know that it will happen at some point, but you still miss them.
These Liverpool fans have been reacting to the comments on Twitter, admitting they are terrified of losing Klopp in the future.

This made me unexpectedly emotional. I hate the day Jürgen leaves Liverpool. Hes larger than life.

It says a lot about Klopp’s brilliance that Liverpool supporters are so desperate for him to stay at Anfield forever.
He is such an infectious, likeable character, not to mention arguably the best manager in the world currently.
Many expected Klopp to be a massive success when he arrived in 2015, but he has exceeded even those expectations.
