Jurgen Klopp signed a long-term deal with Liverpool on Friday, keeping him at Anfield until 2024.
It is one of the best pieces of news any Reds supporter could wish for, with the German already on the verge of being a legendary figure at the club.
He has already guided Liverpool to Champions League glory and his side are strong favourites to win the Premier League title this season.
Interestingly, Steven Gerrard also agreed a new contract with Rangers on Friday, with the Reds legend remaining at Ibrox until 2024 as well.
These fans are convinced the deals go hand-in-hand, with Gerrard eventually replacing Klopp at Anfield.

Not going to lie. I don't feel like it's a coincidence Klopp & Gerrard announced contract extentions to 2024 on the same day…

Read Liverpool Verdict
In many ways, it makes perfect sense that Gerrard would be Klopp’s successor – surely this double piece of news isn’t simply a coincidence.
The legendary former midfielder will have to be good enough to justify getting the job, though, being given it on merit.
The early signs look good for Gerrard, who is impressing greatly at Rangers, closing the gap on rivals Celtic all the time.
Whoever replaces Klopp will have quite the job on their hands, though.
