Plenty of Liverpool fans reacted to Sadio Mane’s early exit from the Reds’ fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers by calling on the club to sign RB Leipzig star Timo Werner this month.
The Germany international has been touted as a transfer target for Jurgen Klopp in recent times, with reports emerging that he would be keen on a move to Merseyside in the near future.
Werner has helped Leipzig to the top of the Bundesliga table this season and leads the way as his club’s most prolific goalscorer with 20 to his name so far.
Klopp has plenty of attacking options at his disposal already, but after Mane was forced off at Molineux with just 33 minutes on the clock, numerous Reds fans have expressed their desire to see the Anfield outfit move for Werner.
