A number of Liverpool fans have been discussing which players have proved them wrong the most in recent years.
Jurgen Klopp has worked wonders at Anfield since taking charge in October 2015, turning the Reds from top-four hopefuls to European champions.
Klopp is not only a fantastic man-manager, but his ability to get the very best out of players is also arguably unrivalled currently.
He has made magnificent signings left, right and centre – Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, to name but a few – and also improved the likes of Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino immeasurably.
When it comes to individual players, we all have our favourites, but we also have those we have been very wrong about down the years.
I posed the question on Twitter, asking supporters for their honesty, and received endless good answers in the process.
Come on then, which current Liverpool player has proved your initial opinion wrong the most.
I was convinced Lovren was a great signing back in 2014…

Here’s a selection of the best – who do you agree with?
James Milner hands down! Ageing and on a free. Wasn’t convinced…oh how I was wrong

Naby. Been disappointing and inconsistent so far.

It’s a toss up between Hendo and Robbo for me! Both absolutely class but I’m delighted to be proven wrong 👍

I absolutely didn’t want to pay James Milner 100k a week for 4 years

Was expecting great things from Naby, been very disappointed so far.

Ox – his first few games he was nowhere. How good was he in that last match. Klopp and Edwards know how to spot potential, players that can be molded. I can't wait to see Minamino unleashed!

Virgil Van Dijk. I thought he was going to be a great signing.
Turns out he has been so much more than i could have predicted.

Robertson? Why has no one mentioned him. He’s an unbelievable signing.
