Joe Gomez endured a nightmare at Anfield during the 1-1 draw against Napoli on Wednesday night.
The centre-back, who was deployed at right-back, was hauled off by manager Jurgen Klopp after just 57 minutes.
He looked like a man without any confidence at all and these fans were not pleased at all…

Gomez was being played out of position but he did have a torrid time on the pitch.
Some of the blame does have to go to Klopp for playing him in a position that isn’t his best, but he didn’t seem up to the task right from the first minute.
He’s still only 22 and has time to work hard to improve his all-round game, but there’s no question that he is at his best when lining up in central defence.
