It has been an eventful few days for Raheem Sterling, who will have dreamed of scoring the winner at Anfield before last weekend.
Instead, the former Liverpool star saw his Manchester City side defeated 3-1 on Sunday, as he increasingly lost his cool.
A bust-up with Joe Gomez took place both on the Anfield turf and on England duty, leading to Sterling being dropped for the Three Lions’ clash with Montenegro on Thursday night.
Some brilliant footage has emerged from Sunday’s match, with Sterling almost coming to blows with Jordan Henderson, too.
The ex-Red decides against it, though, before a bemused Henderson gestures towards referee Michael Oliver.
These Liverpool supporters loved the skipper’s reaction, taking to Twitter to provide their thoughts.

Read Liverpool Verdict
In fairness to Sterling, he actually played well at Anfield, but he still suffered a nightmare afternoon on the whole.
The crowd got to him yet again, without question, and his short temper was proof of that.
Henderson is thought to have been a peacemaker when Gomez and Sterling came to blows with England – by the looks of it, he could have been more heavily involved on Sunday if his former Liverpool teammate hadn’t thought against it.
