Liverpool supporters have lauded Emre Can for his comments surrounding a potential move to Manchester United.
The German departed Anfield back in the summer of 2018, completing a move to Juventus after four seasons in a Reds shirt.
Since then, Liverpool have achieved extraordinary success, not only winning the Champions League and Club World Cup, but also sitting on the verge of a first-ever Premier League title.
Can is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, having struggled to become a key man in Italy, with his options still looking open this summer.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to United, though, which may not go down well with Liverpool fans, given the rivalry between the two clubs.
Can has revealed to Kicker that he never considered a switch to Old Trafford, however, such is his respect for his former side.
