Harry Kane talked a good game before his Tottenham side made the trip to Anfield last weekend, playing down the brilliance of both Liverpool and Virgil van Dijk.
The England captain may have scored inside the opening minute, but he was otherwise anonymous as the Reds won 2-1.
Kane didn’t exactly endear himself to Liverpool supporters during and after the game, going to ground easily and then claiming Jurgen Klopp’s are lucky at the moment.
One brilliant incident from the game saw Van Dijk produce a perfectly-timed tackle on Kane, sending him to the floor in the process.
These Liverpool supporters loved what they saw on Twitter.

Read Liverpool Verdict
Kane did his best to pin himself to Dejan Lovren instead of Van Dijk on Sunday afternoon, but he still didn’t have too much joy.
The Spurs striker has continually been thwarted by the Dutchman during recent meetings, highlighting how dominant Liverpool’s key man is.
