James Milner is renowned for his social media game, proving to be one of the most entertaining Liverpool players in the squad in that respect.
The 34-year-old was once unfairly seen as a player who lacked personality, with the Boring James Milner (@BoringMilner) Twitter account even created in his honour, mocking his personality, or seeming lack thereof.
As time has passed, however, Milner has shown that he possesses a dry personality, whether that be through social media posts or official club videos with Andy Robertson.
The Liverpool midfielder has enjoyed a nice rest during the international break, having retired from England duty, and he has been getting himself ready for Saturday’s Merseyside derby clash with Everton.
Milner may even hope to start at Goodison Park, due to others being jaded after their international escapades, and his experience could prove to be invaluable.
On Wednesday, he posted a brilliant Twitter photo showing him in the gym at Melwood.
In true self-deprecating fashion, Milner joked that “even gym work is in front of empty seats”, as is the case with behind-closed-doors Premier League games currently.
