Bobby Duncan scored a brace for Fiorentina’s under-19s on Sunday, as they beat Bologna 6-3.
The young striker made the move to Italy from Liverpool this summer, although his behaviour in forcing through the transfer did not go down well with some Reds supporters.
Duncan posted on Twitter to speak of his happiness at finding the net for his new club, saying:
Happy to score my first goals for the club today and even greater to catch up with Mr Commisso after the game. Looking forward to giving my all for the club. #forzaviola
These Liverpool fans have been reacting to the 18-year-old’s social media update, most of which mocked him for not playing for the first team.

The reaction to Duncan’s post is no great shock, considering he pushed for a move because of wanting regular senior football.
He is still just finding his feet at his new club, though, and will expect to be promoted to the first team eventually.
There is no denying that Duncan has taken a risk in heading to Italy, having only just been put into Liverpool’s under-23 setup.
He could easily have stayed at Anfield, but his decision to leave has to be seen as both bold and potentially impatient.
