Mohamed Salah has enjoyed a memorable two-and-a-half seasons at Liverpool, scoring 85 goals in 132 appearances.
When the 27-year-old joined from Roma in 2017, there wasn’t resounding positivity, however.
Having failed to shine during a stint at Chelsea, some thought Liverpool were taking a risk, not least rival supporters.
Some brilliant replies to a tweet from Sky Sports have emerged from the day Salah’s arrival was announced, with numerous fans mocking the signing.
These Liverpool supporters have been laughing at the individuals made to look foolish.
Cheers.

Read Liverpool Verdict
I think this sums up the knee-jerk nature of the modern football fan, with many so emphatic about their opinion on a player.
Much like with Kevin De Bruyne, who also didn’t succeed at Chelsea, too many were quick to dismiss Salah just because of one failed spell in England.
In my opinion, the Egyptian is one of the best signings in Liverpool’s history, especially in terms of value for money.
His first season, in particular, was mesmerising, and he continues to be a star man for the best club side in the world.
I also think we now take him for granted as a collective, as he continues to break goalscoring records left, right and centre.
