Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is becoming an increasingly laughable figure, in my opinion.
The Manchester United manager is not only proving to be completely out of his depth, but he is also lacking class.
On Sunday, he hilariously claimed Liverpool were a long-ball team after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Anfield, subtly describing them as the Premier League’s most direct side.
He is becoming increasingly like Roy Hodgson during his time at Anfield, making cringe-worthy remarks and showing the world why he shouldn’t be in the job.
From a Liverpool point of view, the hope is that he remains at Old Trafford for as long as possible, ensuring United continue to get nowhere near the Reds.
Solskjaer’s latest comments sum him up, with the Norwegian claiming Sunday’s loss was actually a sign of progress, simply because United were still in the game in stoppage time:
Solskjaer: "We lost to Liverpool, a team you all say are fantastic, and we've been in the game until the last kick of the ball. For me, that's strides forward. There were signs there that we're on the right track." #MUFC @MirrorFootball
