Liverpool have been linked with a surprise move for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar.
According to La Parisien, the Reds are one of six clubs who want to sign the 27-year-old, with Manchester City another of those in the mix.
Neymar may be in his final season at PSG, having seemingly come to the end of the road there.
Both he and Kylian Mbappe could leave the club next summer, although the latter represents the more exciting option.
These Liverpool supporters have been mocking the story on Twitter, not exactly heaping praise on Neymar at the same time:

Read Liverpool Verdict
Many expected Neymar to be the natural successor to Lionel Messi, in terms of being the world’s best player.
It hasn’t quite panned out that way, however, and despite his obvious brilliance as a footballer, he has become an increasingly flawed individual.
Put simply, Liverpool don’t need to sign him and he doesn’t fit into their style of play in the slightest.
It would be an almighty shock if the Reds’ interest turned out to be genuine.
