Liverpool’s remarkable Carabao Cup fourth round clash with Arsenal on Wednesday was one for the ages.
The Reds drew 5-5 after 90 minutes, thanks to Divock Origi’s stoppage time equaliser, before they won 5-4 on penalties.
It was yet another night that showed the winning mentality Jurgen Klopp has created, with his side’s never-say-die attitude a joy to watch.
Lucas Torreira scored Arsenal’s first goal of the night, making it 1-1 in front of the Kop.
After the game, the Uruguayan bizarrely opted to post a tweet that suggested the Gunners had won the game.
These Liverpool supporters were quick to notice it, mocking the midfielder about his ill-timed post.

Read Liverpool Verdict
It is a strange post from Torreira, considering Arsenal ending up crashing out of the competition.
It can’t have gone down too well with Gunners supporters, who may have perceived it as caring more about his own goalscoring heroics than the eventual result.
Such a post is always asking for trouble and Liverpool fans rightly reminded him of a how ludicrous it looked.
