Liverpool fans have been left hugely concerned after news of Alisson’s latest injury emerged.
The Brazilian has been ruled out of Liverpool’s upcoming games against Bournemouth and Atletico Madrid, in what represents a vital period in the Reds’ season.
Alisson hurt himself in training and will now play no part in at least the next two matches, Jurgen Klopp confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Friday, as reported by This Is Anfield.
The 27-year-old has become one of the most influential players at Liverpool since joining from Roma in 2018.
He has been a sizeable upgrade on the likes of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, bringing an enormous presence between the sticks.
This highlights why Alisson’s absence over the next week or so will be such a big blow, with Adrian set to fill in.
