The European Champions have kick-started their 2019-20 Premier League campaign by thumping Norwich 4-1.
However, in the early stages of the first-half, Alisson Becker was sadly substituted to a supposed calf injury. The medical staff brought out a stretcher but the Brazilian international strongly walked off, which could be good news.
The injury does look serious though, and with Liverpool having a UEFA Super Cup final against Chelsea midweek, it does seem unlikely Alisson will feature.
Norwich showed their attacking brilliance tonight, however, there was no doubt that Liverpool could get the job done.
Alisson’s injury slightly dampened the mood to this fine victory though, with many supporters showing their discontent with the situation on Twitter.

Alisson had a magnificent campaign last season with Liverpool and his country. He was pivotal in the Reds’ Champions League and Premier League run, and Brazil’s success in the Copa America.
With Adrian most likely to start for the game, Liverpool fans will be hoping good news later tonight.
