Manchester United have been charged with misconduct by the FA, following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat away to Liverpool, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds’ rivals were seen as being unable to control their players at Anfield, prior to Roberto Firmino’s being ruled out by VAR.
David de Gea was particularly enraged, earning a yellow card for his troubles, having correctly claimed he was fouled by Virgil van Dijk in the lead-up to Firmino scoring.
This latest charge is just another blow to United, who look a shambles both on and off the pitch at the moment, in my opinion.
They were comprehensively outplayed by Liverpool at Anfield, showing the gulf in class between the two sides currently.
The Red Devils have inferior players, a far worse manager and they are being run in a poorer manner away from the field.
All of that is proven by the current positions of the two sides in the Premier League table.
These Liverpool supporters have been reacting to United’s charge on Twitter.
Thank you FA for leading by example

Bring in the sin bin system for dissent toward the referees. It’s used at grassroots level, doesn’t really work but would be fun to see premier league superstars put on the naughty step😁
