Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday was another high point in a remarkable season at Anfield.
The Reds pulled 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League, with a game in hand, thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
Salah completed the win in the dying seconds, getting on the end of Alisson’s long ball and firing home.
Liverpool’s goalkeeper was the first to celebrate with his teammate, racing the full length of the pitch and producing an impressive knee slide.
These Reds supporters have been hailing the celebration as a truly memorable moment.

Alisson, in Portuguese, saying that he celebrated like that because he saw Pepe Reina do it against United back in 2009. What a guy.❤️

Read Liverpool Verdict
Assuming Liverpool do get over the finish line and win the title, this will be one of the great images of the season, in my opinion.
It sums up the team spirit that Jurgen Klopp has created at Anfield, with every player seemingly adoring one another.
Alisson’s celebration brought back memories of Pepe Reina against United in 2009, after David N’Gog scored late on.
The 27-year-old is a remarkable ‘keeper – the best in the world, I believe, not conceding in the league since December 4th and showing world-class handling and decision-making since returning from injury.
He has almost made as a big a difference as Virgil van Dijk, helping transform Liverpool’s back-line in the last 18 months.
