James Milner was forced off just eight minutes into Sunday’s Merseyside Derby against Everton, and a number of Liverpool fans have shared their reactions on social media.
The 34-year-old was by far one of the most experienced players named in the starting lineup, alongside Adam Lallana, but the versatile Milner hobbled off before 10 minutes had even been played.
And following the injury, these Liverpool fans have expressed their concerns for Milner, with many believing Klopp was right to name such a heavily rotated side.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
Milner’s injury is certainly something Klopp and many a Liverpool supporter didn’t want to see.
Furthermore it emphasises perfectly why the Reds boss did make so many changes to his side, despite the fact it was a derby.
Klopp will now be hoping the injury isn’t too serious, though the fact it forced Milner off is worrying.
