Liverpool fans react to Thiago's training ground brilliance

Numerous Liverpool supporters have been showing their love for Thiago on Twitter, following some typical training ground class from the 29-year-old.

On Wednesday, footage emerged of the Spaniard producing a delightful touch at Melwood, before keeping the ball up a few times and rifling a volleyed pass back in the direction it came.

It was a moment that summed up the elegant beauty of Thiago as a footballer, with everything done with such effortless ease.

There arguably hasn’t been a bigger-name arrival at Liverpool this century, such is Thiago’s standing in the game, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk becoming superstars at Anfield, rather than joining as one.

The hope is that the former Bayern Munich man can add yet another attacking dimension to Liverpool’s play, bringing a level of guile and ball-keeping ability not seen at Liverpool since Xabi Alonso.

While the likes of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner have been wonderful servants for the Reds, none are at Thiago’s elite technical level.

Unsurprisingly, some Liverpool fans have been lapping up the Spain international’s latest show of brilliance, taking to Twitter to heap praise on their new star signing.

Here are the best of the reactions.

Here I am, a 29 year old man, celebrating the way Thiago successfully manages to drop the water bottle without it falling over https://t.co/YdNa70Pcr9
