Kamil Grabara suffered a serious head injury on Tuesday night, in Huddersfield Town’s 2-1 win away to Hull City in the Championship.
The Liverpool goalkeeper was knocked unconscious after a clash with teammate Christopher Schindler and was eventually stretchered off and taken to hospital.
Grabara has been enjoying a loan spell at Huddersfield, having joined on a season-long deal from the Reds last summer.
The 21-year-old has made 28 appearances in the Championship this season, with the Terriers sitting 19th in the table.
Liverpool will hope that the move to England’s second tier has been beneficial for Grabara, having impressed at the Reds’ academy before that.
The youngster now looks set for a spell out of the team after this setback, with precautions required with any head injury.
These supporters have been wishing Grabara all the best on Twitter, hoping he makes a swift recovery in the coming weeks.
