Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s position in the Liverpool side has caused quite the debate among supporters recently.
He came off the bench during Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Napoli after impressing in recent weeks and fans have been calling for him to start more often.
This is a chance he may now get following the injury to Fabinho, but these fans on social media have been split in their opinions.

With Fabinho set for a spell on the sidelines, it looks like Oxlade-Chamberlain will get his chance to nail down a position in the side.
His versatility will soften the blow of Fabinho’s injury, even if it means a reshuffle in midfield.
The one complaint that you could have of Liverpool’s midfield is that it’s a little too industrial and can sometimes lack creativity – Oxlade-Chamberlain solves that by bringing added pace and his forward-thinking nature can help the Reds push on.
