Liverpool fans may not have got what they wanted in terms of transfers in August but, on the pitch, Kopites have little to complain about thus far.

Since the 3-3 draw on the opening day of the Premier League campaign, Jurgen Klopp’s side have racked up four straight wins in all competitions, which leaves them second in the league and through to the Champions League group stage.

The Reds will be hoping to pick up where they left off when they take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Both sides have picked up seven points from their first three domestic games and will have European fixtures to look forward to following their clash at the weekend.

As per the Guardian, it remains to be seen whether Philippe Coutinho will be considered for the fixture after the Brazilian didn’t get his desired move to Barcelona.

Should he return to the fold, the 25-year-old will likely be in the mix for lots of End of Month Awards at Liverpool this term.
