According to the Mirror, Liverpool are showing a real interest in Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with officials from the club watching the midfielder last Sunday against Genoa.
The 23-year-old has been regarded as one of Europe’s hottest prospects over recent campaigns, with the Serbian becoming a regular in Lazio’s midfield since 2015.

The dynamic midfielder was reportedly watched closely by three Premier League sides last Sunday, with the Serbian putting in a dominant performance, assisting the opener for former Manchester City forward Felipe Caicedo and scoring Lazio’s third goal in a 4-1 win.
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur were the other two giants keeping a close eye on the youngster, however, the Italian giants are confident they can keep hold of their star player, who is currently contracted to Lazio up until 2022.
Milinkovic-Savic was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, however, an official offer never materialised from the Red Devils.
