Liverpool have entered the running to sign Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish, according to the Birmingham Mail.
Recent rumours have led the paper to believe that the Reds, along with West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, are interested in the 20-year-old.
They claim, though, that Villa – who are in severe danger of dropping into the Championship – are not likely to cash in on the talented midfielder.
Grealish was one of the Villans’ star performers in their 2-1 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final last year.

But the Ireland Under-21 international has made BBC headlines for the wrong reasons since, which resulted in a temporary demotion from Villa’s senior team.
Twenty-year-old Grealish has appeared 15 times in all competitions this term, and scored his first senior goal for Villa in their 3-2 defeat by Leicester City in September.
Liverpool have only managed 22 goals in 20 games in the Premier League so far, and would need a significant contribution in that regard from any attacking player that they bring in.
