Liverpool are keen on making a move for Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, according to Calciomercato.
The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Serie A giants, struggling for regular playing time.
AC Milan are thought to be in the running to snap up the Italian defender, but there is competition from three Premier League clubs.
Liverpool are one of them, while Manchester United and Arsenal the other teams in question.
Rugani is rated at around €23 million by Transfermarkt.

Although Jurgen Klopp has four centre-back options to choose from currently, there are fitness issues in that area.
Virgil van Dijk is faultless in that respect, at the moment at least, but Joel Matip is sidelined for the foreseeable future, while Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez have had their injury problems in the past.
Rugani would be a shrewd acquisition, coming in and challenging the likes of Matip and Gomez to be Van Dijk’s regular partner.
It feels an unlikely transfer, however.
