Liverpool want to complete a deal for Timo Werner in January, according to Bleacher Report, via talkSPORT.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield numerous times in recent years.
Seen as a perfect type of player to excel under Jurgen Klopp, it appears as though the Reds want him to be part of their plans in the near future.
Klopp is thought to be keen on strengthening his squad in January, as Liverpool look to seal a first-ever Premier League title win.

Werner would be an outstanding signing by the Reds – someone who is tailor-made to thrive in this team.
The Germany international is a ruthless finisher, works hard and is versatile, all of which would appeal to Klopp.
Werner would have to accept that he wouldn’t be playing every week, however, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino the undisputed first-choice front-three.
Should he agree to that, he would be an excellent addition, potentially featuring more prominently in the future.
