Liverpool have made a €60m offer for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, as they close in on a deal for the Frenchman.
According to Le Parisien, Liverpool have offered Lyon €60m, following the arrival of Fabinho from Monaco earlier this week.
The offer, however, is said to be below Lyon’s valuation of the player and has been rejected by the French outfit.
The report also claims that Fekir wants his future sorted before he jets off to Russia for the World Cup with France, so he can fully focus on the tournament.
Liverpool and Lyon are continuing talks over a deal for Fekir, though, as the two club’s look to meet a price that suits both parties.
Lyon are prepared to wait until after the World Cup to strike a deal for Fekir to leave, meaning Liverpool will have to persuade them with a good offer to sell in the coming weeks.
