Liverpool are set to make a £90 million bid for long-term Arsenal target Thomas Lemar in January as they look to booster their already top quality attack next month, as reported by the Independent.
The club is blessed in the forward areas, particularly with Mohamed Salah being the most influential player so far this season. but want to add options with the Champions League set to return in February.
Klopp has been an admirer of the player for some time and hopes to make the 22-year-old his player in January.
This move could spark the selling of Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho who was a target for Barcelona last summer which may be under Klopp’s mind as he plans for the future.
Lemar would offer Liverpool even more creativity as their attack has been lethal so far and they look to build on that going into the later stages of the season.
He is thought to favor a move to Anfield ahead of one to the Emirates and is keen on a move next month.
