Liverpool are set to miss out on signing Arthur, who they were linked with a move for in January, as per Radioestadio.
The Brazilian midfielder looks to be on his way to the Camp Nou to sign for FC Barcelona, with reports in Brazil, Spain and Catalonia saying that he will have a medical today to sign for the La Liga giants.
He currently plays for Gremio, who he helped finish fourth in the Brazilian Serie A last season, with his impressive style of play, with many reports in South America linking him to potential future teammates Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.

He first attracted interest in his Brazilian cup debut where he got a 100% pass completion, and that was what sparked interest from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Atletico de Madrid.
It is expected that the 21-year-old will sign for FC Barcelona for a reported 30 million euros with 10 million in add ons. He will join Gremio once his medical is completed and won’t move to Catalonia until January 2019, after the 2018 calendar year season is finished in Brazil.
So Jurgen Klopp looks to have missed out on Arthur, but his midfield still has the talent of Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, etc along with the incoming Naby Keita. All that remains to be seen is the future for Emre Can.
