Liverpool look set to miss out on Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka, as he agrees to join Bayern Munich.
According to The Mirror, Goretzka has already agreed a deal – in principle – to sign for Bayern Munich
Goretzka’s contract with Schalke expires at the end of the season, with Bayern set to snatch the midfielder on a free transfer.
Liverpool have been heavily-linked with the midfielder over the past few months but appear to have lost the race to Bayern Munich.

The German is highly-rated in the Bundesliga and has produced a number of impressive displays this season for Schalke.
The report also claims that Barcelona were interested in Goretzka before he agreed to join Bayern Munich next summer.
Liverpool officially completed the signing of Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton on Monday for a club-record £75m fee. The highest amount ever paid for a defender in the history of world football.
