According to the Daily Express, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Middlesbrough and England Under-21 centre-half Dael Fry.
The 21-year-old has featured for Boro in the past two seasons, racking up over 40 first-team appearances at the Riverside after progressing through the club’s youth system.

The towering central defender has been in and out of the side under Tony Pulis during the current campaign, featuring in three out of the last four Championship fixtures, with Boro conceding just the once during that time.
Fry’s impressive performances have alerted numerous Premier League sides, with Liverpool now monitoring the youngster’s situation.
According to the report, Liverpool officials have already watched Middlesbrough six times this season, with Fry impressing the Reds on numerous occasions.
Liverpool have previous history of bringing in a young defender from the Football League, after signing Joe Gomez from Charlton back in 2015, with the 21-year-old now a regular in Jurgen Klopp’s side as well as Gareth Southgate’s England squad, so the Reds may well attempt to do it again with Boro’s Fry in the coming months.
