Liverpool player ratings: Crystal Palace (A)

Liverpool just about managed to keep their winning run going as they barely got past Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino scored for the away side, while Wilfried Zaha equalised for the Eagles.

In a first half of very few opportunities, Palace had the best chance through Jordan Ayew, but the striker fluffed his lines.

The home side did score through James Tomkins at the stroke of half-time, but VAR ruled the goal out as replays showed that Ayew pushed Dejan Lovren in the build-up.

Shortly after the break, Liverpool took the lead through Mane, when his stabbed effort got a deflection off Gary Cahill to go into the back of the net.

Zaha took his chance well in the 82nd minute to equalise, but three minutes later, Firmino slotted his effort home via an almighty scrap inside the Palace box from a Liverpool corner.
