Liverpool Player Ratings: Tottenham (H)

Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Anfield to keep their lead to six points at the top of the table.

Harry Kane handed the away side an early lead, but goals from Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah in the second-half secured an important win for the Reds.

Just after 47 seconds into the game, a Heung-min Son shot was deflected onto the bar. Kane was alive to head the rebound home.

Thereafter, Liverpool had a number of good opportunities to score but they couldn’t get past Paulo Gazzaniga.

In the second-half, the home side pushed hard for the equaliser and got their reward in the 52nd minute, when Henderson’s shinned shot was enough to beat the Spurs keeper.

Later on, Sadio Mane was quick and clever enough to win the penalty against Serge Aurier, and Salah was there to tuck the spot-kick in.
