Liverpool have decided that they want to cash in on defender Dejan Lovren at the end of the season.
According to ESPN, via HITC, Liverpool are preparing to sell him next summer as they look to move him on before his contract expires.
His current deal runs out in the summer of 2021, with Liverpool keen to sell him before that. However, the report does state that the club will not be interested in letting him leave in January.

Lovren has been solid for Liverpool this season when he has been needed to fill in at centre-back. The Croatian defender regained his place in the side when Joel Matip suffered an injury and enjoyed a good run of games in the Premier League, but now looks to be back on the bench with Matip returning from his knock.
It makes sense for Liverpool to wait until the end of the season to cash in, rather than trying to rush a move in January. This would lead to the club possibly not getting the best deal for him, whilst also needing to rush in a replacement. In the summer, they will have all the time they need to sell him and sign a player to take his place.
