Liverpool have entered the race to sign Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, according to a report on CalcioMercato.
The 22-year-old is highly-rated in Italy and is known for his explosive pace. Fellow Serie A sides Juventus and Inter Milan are also keen to secure his signature.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking for ways to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window and the Reds are understood to have been watching him very closely over the last few months.
The Merseyside club is seriously pondering an offer and although his current deal expires in 2022, they’ll be confident of landing him.

Chiesa is very talented and has scored three goals and provided four assists so far this season.
He is also very versatile because he can operate anywhere along the front line and can also play as an attacking midfielder.
This would be very valuable to Klopp but it could prove to be a tough battle against Juventus. Every effort should be made to bring Chiesa to Anfield.
