Liverpool Summer Transfer Tinder – The Dirty Dozen

The season has only been over a few weeks, yet Liverpool have already been linked with more footballers than every ex-Big Brother contestant and the cast of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ all put together.

There’s been almost as much drama too, with Southampton running to complain to the Premier League over the club trying it on with Virgil van Dijk, like some sort of jilted lover.

A humiliating statement of apology and a promise to stop texting van Dijk seems to have calmed that particular situation, as has an abrupt plugging of any leaks from Anfield. This has also had the sad effect of rendering Liverpool journos and wannabe-Twitter-insiders starved of the love and attention they crave in peak transfer season. There may be hope yet though, that we see VVD in one of Jurgen’s famous ‘man-hugs’ and doing the ‘Anfield lean’…

Mohamed Salah seems ever closer to finally getting his dream Anfield move for around £35m, but overall so far, all Reds transfer-spotters have to show for their frantic Twitter and Facebook refreshing, is Dominic Solanke. Which is ‘nice’, but not quite the drop-dead Supermodel many of you are after.

This is all likely to change over the next week or so, but which players are really getting you going at the moment?

Here’s your twelve for Transfer Tinder this week. Be warned, however, we’ve heard a couple of ringers found their way onto the list, this is Tinder after all…happy swiping!
