Gini Wijnaldum was exceptional in Liverpool’s win over Manchester United, continuing his excellent recent form.
The Reds won 2-0 at home to their rivals on Sunday, meaning they now have a 16-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
In a game littered with moments of quality from Liverpool players, one piece of class from Wijnaldum stood out.
The Dutchman humiliated Harry Maguire with a silky touch in the middle of the park, nutmegging the world’s most expensive centre-back.
These Liverpool supporters lauded Wijnaldum’s brilliance, mocking Maguire at the same time.

Wijnaldum treating Maguire like a championship defender was such a great moment.
Gini was such a monster today. Vvd a colossus.

Read Liverpool Verdict
In my opinion, Wijnaldum is one of the best midfielders in Europe on current form.
The selfless job he does for the team means he doesn’t always make headlines, but his performances this season have been magnificent.
He works his socks off, uses his strength to great effect and is immaculate on the ball, completing 90.5 percent of his passes in the league in 2019/20, according to WhoScored.
Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson aren’t as fashionable as some of their teammates, but if Liverpool to clinch league glory this season, they will have played an enormous role in the success.
