Italian midfielder and Liverpool target Nicolò Barella has revealed that money won’t be the reason if he decides to leave current side Cagliari, Inside Futbol report.
The 21-year-old, who has impressed in the middle of midfield for Cagliari this season in Italy’s top division, has caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, with the Reds weighing up a potential move for the midfielder next season.

Roma, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, Inter Milan and AC Milan are all thought to be monitoring the youngster’s situation, after Barella progressed through Cagliari’s youth system.
Talking to SportWeek, Barella insisted that if and when he does decide to leave his current club, it wont be for a financial benefit.
If and when I have to leave, it will never be for the money, but for ambition.
I don’t care about having a Ferrari or a big penthouse. I have my own desires, but I don’t play football to drive a beautiful car.
If the Reds are to lure the talented youngster to Anfield, Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini has recently admitted any club would have to pay €50 million to secure the Italy international’s services.
