Liverpool and Chelsea draw yet again at Anfield. A very tight encounter saw Willian score a late equaliser for the away side. The game could have gone either way with both sides having their fair share of chances, but the points are shared. I will be saying who my three-star players for the Reds were:
Mohamed Salah:
It’s becoming quite a regular theme, this. He was superb today and looks so lively when he attacks opposition defences. The Egyptian took his goal very well and had a couple of other chances where he could have scored. Salah’s strength for such a small guy is very impressive. This was demonstrated with his hold up play today, especially when he moved central when Liverpool were leading the game. Man of the match, for me.

Alberto Moreno:
There were many question marks over Moreno after the Sevilla game. Many thought he wouldn’t play today. But to use a cliche; it’s all about your response, and his response was fantastic. The formation Chelsea were playing made it very difficult for Moreno because of the wing-backs, but I thought he dealt with it excellently. Jurgen Klopp will be very happy with the Spaniard’s performance.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain:
It was a big game for Oxlade-Chamberlain today and I thought he performed well. Not the best, but there were some very positive signs in there. His toe-poke to put Salah through for his goal was brilliant. A very instinctive and clever touch from the Ox. He had a big job to track back today due to Chelsea’s 3-at-the-back formation and I thought he coped well with that. He was subbed off very late on in the game, so Liverpool could try and win it – but an impressive performance nonetheless.
