Liverpool have discovered that newly promoted Norwich City will be their opponents on matchday one of the new Premier League season after the fixtures were released on Thursday.
The Reds will host Daniel Farke’s Canaries at Anfield in a Friday night fixture on 9th August to kick off the new Premier League campaign.
It is a generous fixture for the European Champions, who will feel confident they can get their quest for a 19th league title off to the perfect start against one of the top flight’s new boys.
