Liverpool vs Spurs: Four memorable meetings

After a superb season for Liverpool, they will be confident going into their most important game of the season on Saturday vs Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs team, in the all-English Champions League final in Madrid.

Over the past 10 years, the two teams have met over 20 times, with the Reds coming out on top with 11 wins.

However, Liverpool and Spurs have never met each other in the final of a European competition. This will be the first time they come head-to-head and it’ll be an exciting game for all fans and players of both teams.

The Reds have won five out of their six last games, whereas Tottenham have only managed to secure two wins in their last six. It is, therefore, looking much more promising for Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

History between the two sides does imply that Liverpool will take the win on Saturday night, but there have been some exciting games in the past 10 years that suggest anything could happen.
