Loan Watch: How did Liverpool’s loan players fare at the weekend?

Liverpool eventually found three points on Sunday after James Milner scored a late penalty to win 2-1 against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Sadio Mane scored the other goal for the Reds and former Liverpool player Ryan Babel found the back of the net for Fulham.

But, how did the players on loan from Liverpool got on in their games at the weekend?

Nathaniel Clyne – Bournemouth

Clyne played the full game at right back in a 2-2 draw at home to Newcastle, Joshua King scored twice for the Cherries and Salomon Rondon and Matt Ritchie got the goals for the Magpies.

Bournemouth remained in 12th place in the Premier League.

Ovie Ejaria – Reading

Ejaria missed the game through injury as the Royals drew 0-0 with Stoke City. Reading moved down to 21st place in the Championship.

Ryan Kent – Rangers & Liam Millar Kilmarnock

Kent played the full game at left wing for Rangers as they drew 1-1 with Millar’s Kilmarnock.

Millar came off the bench in the 72nd minute for Alan Power – Conor McAleny and Alfredo Morelos found the back of the net in the game.

Rangers remained in second place and Kilmarnock remained in fourth place in the Scottish Premiership.

Adam Bogdan – Hibernian

Hibernian beat Motherwell 2-0 at home with Mark McNulty and David Gray finding the back of the net, as Bogdan watched on from the stands.

Hibs remained in sixth place.

Marko Grujic – Hertha Berlin

Grujic played the full game at defensive midfield role in a 3-5-2 formation in a 3-2 defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund.

Salomon Kalou scored both the goals as Hertha went down to nine men in the game, Thomas Delaney, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Marco Reus scored the goals for BVB.

The Serb’s side remained in 10th place in the Bundesliga.

Allan de Souza– Fluminense

Allan came off the bench in the 67th minute for Bruno Silva in Fluminese’s 1-1 draw with Botafogo at home with Ganso scoring for the home side and Alex Santana scoring for Botafogo.

Fluminense remain in second place in the Brazilian Campeonato Carioca Group A.

Loris Karius – Besiktas

Karius played the full game in goal and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory at home to Goztepe A.S. – with Burak Yilmaz scoring the only goal.

Besiktas are still third the Turkish Super Lig.

Sheyi Ojo – Stade Reims

Ojo didn’t feature in the squad for Reims and has instead been playing for their second team, Reims beat Nantes 1-0 at home with Remi Oudin scoring the only goal.

Reims are now sixth in Ligue 1.

Taiwo Awoniyi – Royal Mouscron

The Nigerian forward couldn’t continue his good form due to a knee injury that saw him miss his side’s 2-1 victory over Club Brugge away from home.

Selim Amallah and Nemanja Antonov scored for Mouscron and Siebe Schrijvers netted for the home side.

Despite the victory, however, Mouscron remained in 10th place in the Belgian Division 1A.
