Former Leicester manager Micky Adams has said that James Maddison should hold out for a move to Manchester City or Liverpool to further his career.
Adams has claimed that they are the only two teams who can offer him more than Leicester can, in terms of the Premier League, at this moment.
Speaking to The Mirror, Adams said this:
Maddison would have to go to Manchester City or Liverpool to improve on what he’s got at Leicester.
As a young man he’s just got to keep developing his game and working hard.
He must not listen to the hype or get ahead of himself.
Liverpool have been linked with interest in Maddison in the past, with Manchester United also thought to be keen on the England international.

Could Maddison provide the creativity Liverpool need in midfield?
Whilst there is no doubting that Liverpool are one of the best attacking sides in world football, there is always room for improvement. The lack of out-and-out creative midfielders in Liverpool’s squad is one area in which Jurgen Klopp could look to improve his squad.
Maddison created the most chances in the Premier League last season and has already managed one goal and two assists so far this term for Leicester. His passing ability in the final third could be a huge asset if Liverpool brought him to the club.
