Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for the Globe Soccer Awards Coach of the Year award.
The German’s inclusion is richly deserved and he will surely be the favourite to win the prize, following Liverpool’s Champions League success last season.
Klopp is joined on the shortlist by Massimiliano Allegri, Erik ten Hag, Djamel Belmadi and Fernando Santos.
There is no place for Pep Guardiola, however, despite winning a domestic treble with Manchester City in 2018/19.
Needless to say, these City supporters have been left fuming on Twitter.

Although it is quite funny to see City fans losing their minds, Guardiola’s omission is baffling.
The Spaniard may have a bottomless pit of money to spend, but he has still turned City into one of the most dominant English sides of all time.
For him to miss out and Portugal boss Santos to be chosen instead, having only won the UEFA Nations League, makes little sense.
Klopp is doing a superior job, though!
