Some Manchester United supporters have shown their love for Luke Shaw, following comments he has made about the Premier League season being voided.
Football is currently postponed in England due to the virus-related illness affecting the world, with no return date definite at the moment.
There has been pressure from some individuals to void the season completely in the near future, should the crisis go on for an extended period of time.
Should that happen, it could mean Liverpool miss out on a first Premier League title, despite sitting 25 points clear of Manchester City.
From a United perspective, that may no doubt cause great relief, with the thought of their most bitter rivals finally being champions unlikely to be a nice one.
Speaking during a Combat Corona Twitch FIFA competition over the weekend, with quotes cited by the Metro, Shaw discussed the prospect of voiding the season:
Scrap it and start again. Start it again yeah. It’s gotta be you know. If we can’t carry it on it’s got to be void.
These United fans have taken to Twitter to laud the Englishman, due to his seemingly obvious dig at Liverpool.

Got to agree. If this season is not finished, you shouldn't just decide to end it as it is. Liverpool deserved it, but the must be completed
