One of the strangest rumours doing the rounds this season has centred around a supposed rift between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Mane was left infuriated in the win at Burnley earlier in the campaign, after Salah selfishly chose not to pass to him.
The Senegalese reacted angrily when substituted and it created a narrative that all was not well between the pair.
Mane has brilliantly shut down those claims, however, in a fantastic video that appeared on Wednesday, following Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Monterrey.
Got to just admire this man. #SuperSadio 🤩

The 27-year-old said the following, seemingly putting to bed the recent claims:
We [Mane and Salah] are very very good friends. I don’t know what kind of problems people talk about. There are absolutely no issues between us.
I hope Egyptian fans continue to support Salah because he fight for his country and tries to give his best to help the team achieve the best results. See you soon in Egypt.

In a Liverpool squad littered with great characters, Mane is arguably the most likeable of the lot.
He is an infectious individual who lives life with a smile on his face, performing at a world-class level at the same time.
Mane has perfectly silenced those who believe he and Salah don’t get along – it always seemed like a made-up rumour.
