Mbappe: PSG “ready to do something big” at Liverpool

According to TEAMtalk, via Gazzetta Dello Sport, Kylian Mbappe says he is excited about the prospect of playing at Anfield when Liverpool and PSG meet for the first Champions League matchday on Tuesday.

In the interview, Mbappe said,

Playing on Tuesday at Anfield against a big European club is the ideal way to debut our new kit.

He also discussed he thoughts on playing Liverpool,

Of course Liverpool is one of our main rivals, but I have good feelings about it. I think we’re ready to do something big and positive.

Liverpool will be boosted for the PSG clash as the French champions will be without five first team players. Layvin Kurzawa is the latest to be ruled out having just recieved back surgery and will not feature for the rest of 2018. He joins Dani Alves, Marco Verratti, Gianluigi Buffon and Adrien Rabiot on the missing list.

Liverpool will be in action on Saturday with The Reds making the trip down south to Wembley to face Tottenham while PSG prepared on Friday night against Saint Etienne.
